Who are the associates in Diana Mosher Associates?
We approach each project based on its unique needs and bring in partners accordingly. Our network of specialists—general contractors, architects, lighting designers, signage and other experts—are available to work with us on your project.
What services do you offer for multifamily developers and property managers?
We can help with lobby refresh, model unit design, amenity spaces, appliance and finish sections, space planning, project management and media strategy.
What services do you offer for apartment residents/homeowners?
Finish selections, space planning, furnishings, 3D renderings, project management.
Do you work on other kinds of projects?
Yes we also work on commercial office space of all sizes. And suburban residential kitchens and baths.
How do you work? What’s the process?
Every interior design project starts with a 30-minute consultation free of charge either in-person or video call. If we are a good fit and decide to work together, we create a proposal based on our initial conversation. It describes the scope of work. What kind of communication and deliverables can we expect?
We provide a weekly update via email and have two scheduled concept presentations.
How will you define my aesthetic?
Through observation, conversation, questionnaire and your design inspiration images.
Do you offer project management?
We offer project management to implement the design concept and manage the ordering of any new furniture, furnishings or artwork that need to be purchased.
What’s the fee structure?
Unless it’s a consulting project which would be charged hourly, we charge by the project. The project fee = design fee + project management fee unless the client wishes to handle procurement and installation themselves. Cost of materials, furniture and furnishings are not included in the project fee. We require a deposit of 50 percent of the project fee to kick off the project. The remaining 50 percent is due upon design concept presentation.
Do you provide 3D renderings of the design?
Yes we can include 3D renderings as an add-on service.
Will we be able to use some of our existing furniture?
Yes we are in favor of “use what you have” interior design solutions when possible. Usually we spot artwork, furniture and accessories on the initial consultation that wind up in our design concept presentation.
Should we do everything at once? How will we know how to prioritize?
We can design one room at a time—or several. During the initial consultation we can begin to map out priorities and these are detailed in the design agreement.
Does Diana Mosher Associates have a minimum project size?
We do not have a minimum project size.
