Whether your real estate investment serves as a primary residence, pied-a-terre or vacation rental property, you’ll want to design the new space with durable and stylish furniture as well as art and decorative accessories that photograph well for listings. Your space should have universal appeal to attract a wide range of guests/residents while also avoiding blandness. Vintage stores are a great place to pick up pieces with personality. From the Sunday Antique Market to retailers like Rove Concept, Toronto is a design paradise. Let’s go shopping!
‘Designers Walk’ Commercial Centre
One way to maximize space in an apartment setting is to incorporate a wall bed. A studio apartment becomes truly multifunctional and a two-bedroom apartment gains the ability to transition from guest bedroom to home office. Visit Resource Furniture in their Toronto location at Designers Walk.

Located in the heart of Toronto’s Annex/Yorkville neighborhood, Designers Walk is situated in five buildings stretching along Davenport Road to Pears Avenue. Since 1980, Designers Walk has been serving the Canadian interior design industry with a selection of influential showrooms. Joab Igra, the founder of Designers Walk, realized a need to bring trade professionals together and provide the opportunity to source and purchase products only available through a design professional.

The King East Design District (KEDD) is a collection of furniture and design shops within the heart of Old Town Toronto. The district officially runs along King Street East from Church Street to Parliament Street, with additional shops to be found as far east as River Street.
